Your team — not handed down to them

Three phases. One outcome: a service operation that runs, grows, and scales.

01

Operational Assessment & Service Blueprint

Before we say a word about solutions, we spend time inside your operation — following jobs, watching handoffs, and understanding how your business actually runs, not how it's supposed to.

The Foundation
02

Service Foundation Build

With the blueprint in hand, we build the infrastructure your service team actually needs. Working processes, clear documentation, and the tools to hold it all together — built with your people, not around them.

The Build
03

Field Operations Playbook

The complete operating manual that makes your service operation replicable, scalable, and sustainable — so your business can grow without depending on any one person to hold it together.

Our Approach

Most consultants hand you a report. We hand you a running operation.

We've been in the field, in the data room, and at the table with every stakeholder from the technician to the CFO. We know what changes actually stick — and it isn't a 200-page deck. It's building alongside your team until they own it.

01

We observe first

Ride-alongs, systems reviews, and real conversations with the people doing the work — before we form a single recommendation.

02

We build with your team

Every process, every document, every workflow is developed alongside your people. That's how you get buy-in that doesn't disappear the moment we leave.

03

We make sure it sticks

We don't hand off a binder and disappear. We train, test, and stay until your team has the clarity and confidence to run it themselves.

Rhonnie & Megan

Two operators who've been in every corner of the field service business.

Between us, we've managed field teams, built data systems from scratch, integrated acquisitions, grown customer bases, and sat across from every stakeholder from the tech in the truck to the CFO in the boardroom. We started P&B because the consulting we wanted didn't exist — so we built it.

The Foundation

Operational Assessment & Service Blueprint

Before we make a single recommendation, we need to understand exactly how your operation works — not how it's supposed to work, but how it actually performs under real conditions. Over five days of embedded, firsthand observation, we follow jobs from scheduling through completion, watch how your people and systems interact, and document every handoff, gap, and friction point we find. The result is a precise, honest picture of your service business that becomes the foundation for everything that follows.

Deliverables

Service Blueprint Map — a complete visual of your service operation from first call to final invoice
Systems friction point analysis and FSM platform recommendation
Process insights: workflow sequencing, critical dependencies, highest-risk handoffs
Team insights: role clarity gaps, ownership issues, accountability structure
Priority recommendations — ranked by operational and financial impact
Executive-ready Summary Deck

The Build

Service Foundation Build

The blueprint tells you what needs to change. This phase is where we change it — together with your team. We build the infrastructure your service organization needs to operate consistently, serve customers reliably, and give leadership the visibility they need to make smart decisions. Everything we build, we build with your people. That's not a feel-good philosophy — it's how you get adoption that actually holds.

Deliverables

Call handling and dispatch workflow — from first contact through technician assignment
Technician handbook with job standards, documentation requirements, and PPE protocol
Rate card development — labor, parts, emergency, and contract pricing structure
Preventive maintenance program framework and scheduling cadence
Trunk stock and parts strategy — what to carry, how to track, how to replenish
Quality and safety checklists — consistent standards across every tech, every job
03

The Scale

Field Operations Playbook

The playbook makes your service operation replicable. Every role documented. Every process mapped. Every quality checkpoint defined. Whether you're preparing to bring on new technicians, opening a new market, or positioning the business for acquisition, the Field Operations Playbook ensures your organization can grow without losing the consistency and quality that built its reputation. This is the document your team leads with clarity — and your next leader can pick up and run.

Deliverables

Complete field operations manual — every role, every workflow, every standard
Role clarity and accountability structure across service, dispatch, parts, and leadership
FSM platform configuration, training, and rollout support
KPI dashboard and reporting cadence — what to track and how to act on it
Leadership transition documentation and onboarding support

Not sure which phase you need?

Most engagements start with Phase 1 — and that's intentional. You can't build well on a foundation you haven't looked at yet. Let's talk about where you are.

Rhonnie Reeves

Managing Partner

Rhonnie brings a rare combination of operational discipline and analytical precision to every engagement. Her career has been built inside field service organizations — managing everything from work order design and enterprise system transformation to fleet operations and field team performance. She started in a family-owned business where she built every system from scratch, moving a paper-based operation into a fully integrated platform. That experience shaped everything: she doesn't recommend systems she hasn't lived in, and she doesn't design processes without understanding the person who has to run them.

Her approach is grounded in data, executed with the field in mind, and designed to stick long after the engagement ends. She's most at home when she's connecting a technician's daily reality to an executive's strategic goal — and making sure those two things are finally pointing in the same direction.

Megan Allen

Managing Partner

Megan's background spans field service operations, sales strategy, and M&A integration — giving her an unusually complete view of how a service business creates and captures value. She's led teams through rapid growth, navigated acquisition transitions, and built the kind of customer strategy that turns a good service relationship into a long-term partnership.

She has a sharp eye for what sounds good in a boardroom but won't move the needle in the field — and she's not shy about saying so. What she builds instead are practical, targeted strategies that connect directly to business outcomes. Her work on client retention and expansion has driven millions in renewed and grown contracts, and she brings that same commercial instinct to every engagement. At P&B, she focuses on the strategy layer that connects strong operations to sustainable growth.

We'd love to learn about your operation.
